Both it can be a little weird, but it only gets intolerable if you over complicate it. To make it less weird keep the boy/girlfriend separate from your sibling. If your sibling has a nick name try reaffirming that and reinforce that name to that person, if the sibling doesn't have a nick name see if the boy/girlfriend has one if not try to give them one if they don't like the idea tell them why you are doing it and they should understand.
yes I think it would be weird seeing how I don;t have any sisters haha. but I did date a girl who had the same name as my mom. and that was a little to weird, but wasnt the reason why we broke up
It'd be weird to me. I think it'd be less weird the more common the name was. Like dating a Mike when I had a brother named Mike wouldn't be that bad, but dating an Xavier if that was my brother's name would be terrible. My guess on this is that guys would care less than we do. That's usually how it works, and as long as your name isn't really unusual he's probably had crushes on girls with that name before.
Well. I don't think that the would be a reason not to got with someone. However, it may be a little awkward, but you could always use a nickname.
That's not weird. It's just a name. If you really worried about it you could come up with a special nick name that you two can talk about.

im not sure.i always worried about that.but my brothers have pretty interesting names others dont.i think its creepy but if you feel a connection then names don't matter.think of a cute nickname if all else fails!
if its just the name you guys can came up with a nick name , not a big deal .
