My boyfriend called me by another girls name?

I've been with him for seven months, and we are very close.

Though last night when he was talking to me on the phone, he called me by the name "Amelia", and my name is not Amelia. I asked him why he said that and he apologized. He explained how at school he called his friend Amelia by my name too by accident, and he told me how he's been good friends with her since grade 8. I also remembered how one of my boyfriends guy friends told me a few months ago how he goes to her house sometimes with some friends (My boyfriend never told me that?).

Is this bad?

You shouldn't jump to conclusions, because that's not really evidence, but if I had to make a wild ass guess on what you said ... I'd be worried. I've never even come close to calling my girlfriend another name, it doesn't really make sense. Hell I don't call anyone by the wrong name and if I do it's once in 49854895458458459845.
