All I can say is that when children stop making noise, something is not right.
I'm a baby sitter- have been since a really young age- and what my experience with kids has taught me is that it's important to both watch and listen to your children, ESPECIALLY if they're between the ages of 2-8 where they need extra attention as they tend to get in trouble easily. Extra attention to kids who just started walking or that still have issues with their balance.
P. S
If your kid says there's something in their room PLEASE, take the kid away and check for yourself, doesn't matter if they're imagining it or not, you shouldn't take your chances.
Had to note all these. Oof.

It refers to them not having a say in house hold matters but often gets taken as they should play in silence which is ridiculous.
It's an interesting saying. I assume it's meant that kids are supposed to have respect for adults but it's also used to say that kids are not as important as adults. Either way, I think the saying goes not make that much sense to use, it kind of has a sense of adult ego behind it. I mean look at the many instances where children had more sense then adults and in the bible it values children. Overall the saying is not that great to have.
Was watching the "Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" amazon show and wondered why the heck are the kids eating separately from the parents? It seemed very sad.
Children say a lot more relevant things than adults and certainly a lot more caring. If someone doesn't want to see, hear, eat with , etc. their kids, they shouldn't have any.

Never heard of that saying, but I find it stupid. Like what if the kid says it's getting bullied. "If we don't see it, we don't believe it"
If you have a good kid, and it all of a sudden says something out of the ordinary, you should probably take it a bit more seriousI find it to be quite old fashioned. Children are usually the central focus anytime we have a family gathering. Sure there are times when they all want to play outside and the adults are inside visiting. But most of the time our family and friends like to interact and play with the kids and encourage them to be creative and have fun
How about this One, HUN: "THis is My House and You are Just a Guest in it?"
LOl NOW.. I OWN "THAT HOUSE."xxxxxxxxxxThey are kids, I hate when people get upset about kids playing and being loud. I don't know if adults forget what it's like to be a kid or what happens.
Im not sure why you would want that, it sounds like the children from horror films to me!
Children are loud, let them be loud.
It's an outdated saying
