I would talk to the victim about the situation first. If they are in favour of pressing charges then I would take them to the police station to file a report and get further advice.

If they seem hesitant or protective of the aggressor which can be the case in cases of domestic violence then I would ask to take them to a GP (doctor's) in order to check on any injuries. Whilst there, GPs have safeguarding policies in place so I would inform them of what I suspected happened and ask for further advice in private.

Personally: I'd go talk to him, without the female, tell him if he ever touched her again or didn't do everything to please her I'd kill him. If he is already fighting me I'd let him punch me first then I'd kill him so it was "just defense"
