Pretty much all said. I told my parents I was gonna get a massage at an Asian massage parlor and they were freaking out like it such a big deal. its 60 bucks for a 60 minute full body massage from a cute Asian girl sounds like a treat to me ;p

I don't know if it's illegal for you to get one, but it is illegal for them to give you one. Asian massage parlors (better known as "rub 'n' tugs") generally involve nudity on the masseuse's part, so from a legal stand point, it's the same as a bouncer letting you in a strip club.

Another legal matter to consider is that the nickname of the joints (rub 'n' tug) does have validity. It's pretty much assumed that your back won't feel one iota better than it did before, but other parts of you will. Depending on what the prostitution laws are like in your area, there may be more laws you'd be violating. Cops know those joints and do target them from time to time. I'm not saying that you should go through life not breaking a single law, just be careful when you do.

As to why your parents freaked out, it's not surprising. You basically told them that you want to go visit a hooker for a handjob. So yes, their reactions were completely understandable.

Lol I guess you're not old enough to know what Asian massage parlor usually means. FYI it generally means they give you a happy ending with the massage. If you are looking for that you probably shouldn't have told your parents. If you just want a massage then it's perfectly fine, I'd probably try to explain that to your parents a little better.

When I was 18 it was illegal for me to be sold/served alcohol. But for example I was at the bar so often that year that the owner invited me to the Christmas party. I did not bring it up to my parents.

Also on the list of things I did not discuss with my parents was banging beaver and dropping acid.
