I actually believe, like the Greeks, that 1) friendship is a type of love. 2) That friendship is by far the strongest and most unshakable type of love. The strongest relationships with ANYONE are rooted in the mutual respect of a strong friendship.
Friendship.
Love isn't guaranteed to last, especially if it's with the wrong person.
But if you find good, loyal friends that you can rely on? They'll bring love and happiness in your life that can last forever.

This is a different question. I'm not sure that is really has to be separated in such a way, but I get that these types of questions, placed in polarity, can make for some interesting threads here.
I'm not going to be p. c. and I'm going to be honest. I can rationalize and analyze and be logical 'til I'm blue in the face. But I "prefer" an all-consuming love. I don't think there is any feeling like it. You can get adrenaline rushes by doing extreme sports, experiencing something new for the first time... I'm sure there's a few more examples there somewhere, but the feeling of being in love with someone, and having your thoughts and waking (and sometimes sleeping) hours consumed by ideas of them, well it can be an absolutely hypnotic, yet calm, and satisfying state like no other.
Friendships are great. They can be very meaningful, fulfilling, comforting, and bring great joy. But I'm not much of a middle-road kind of girl. I have always tended towards extremes. It is in my nature to go deep and fall hard. This can also bring great pain (pain is inevitable, in my opinion, but that doesn't necessarily make it not worth doing anyway.) And there are times when your heart and mind are committed elsewhere or, even worse, shut down and completely out of commission, say, after a prior heartache. But I don't think we can ever truly shut off the capacity to love. Sometimes it's a decision, or just something inside that stops you from reaching forward, towards another, again. Friendships matter. Friendships can be very important relationships in life. But in all honesty, give me the drug of love. I want to lose myself in it, and in the other person. Like Alice falling down the rabbit hole. I can be pragmatic, but I am not that way about people or relationships.
I am going to go with a good lasting partner. Although I don't really have a best friend, i do have a sister.
Sister is friend as well. With blood relationships
Friendship, because most people don't know what love. I rather have no love than fake love. Matter of fact, I am their choice. Because, I am automatically lead them 2 options : A) You can fuck with me/ Ride with me/ Follow me or B) Get left behind/Don't get in my way/ Stay where you and Imma stay where I'm at. And that there tells me that I am a valuable man, because I lead you 2 choices to follow by and sticking to it
I prefer friendship because I know it lasts longer than love and if love comes out of the friendship then it's even better 😍 😍
I think friendship is necessary while love is more exciting and important but an extra and not something you can't live without - you need friends to live but you don't need a husband or wife to live and be satisfied.
I prefur friendships and the only love your ever gunna need is the love from a pet
Friendship , because all this world thinks about is, sex , money , drugs. And they have so tainted the idea of love
Friendship. I'm not really a romantic or sexual person, so I'm very happy with just friendship.
I prefer love, and I love my friends so I guess it's not a choice after all.
For there to be a true friendship, it must be a loving one.
Friendship maybe, that's a hard one. On one hand you are friends so you'll like each other but that doesn't mean you'll love each other
I hate the bond. Wish I could be with someone without any bond. I hate to feel depressed when I have attachment with someone.
Friendship over love in my opinion
Both are often temporary.
