I miss him so much😔
What do you think of Father's Day?
I miss him so much😔
In my culture we don't celebrate it, but I don't think I need a holiday to show my dad or mom how much I love them. I get the purpose of why people want to celebrate it which is completely find by me. However I just have one question though... don't you think its kinda ironic how mothers day and fathers day is supposed to be treated equally yet people rarely celebrate fathers day? Every time I was working in retail I barely saw anybody come in for fathers day. Yet for mothers day it got so busy that we ran out of supplies.
Sorry on your loss, well Fathers Day isn't too good for me
cause me and my Father aren't close, my Father is age 79
and the thing is next year if he's still around he will be age 80
so I'm wondering if I should get him a card or two I don't know
what to do?
Sorry to hear your loss - he looks like a very sweet man - know God is your heavenly Father until you see your old dad in paradise
It’s a day to celebrate dads for being dads. I took mine out for a picnic.

Aww... Such a cute picture!!
Yeah... When they pass on it can make it that way... I think you just view as other father's, like I celebrated that my brother was a father himself
I'm sorry for your loss.
Just realize that for some people, even people like me, who have lost a father, Father's Day is the greatest. I wanted to be a father for years and I wasn't until age 39. To me, it's a huge deal.
Maybe you could "adopt" a new father.
I've more or less "adopted" my in laws as my own along the way.
A day of remembrance to reflect memories and the whole enchilada. A good day but like life it has its place.
Im glad to be born. But no i didn't tell anyone in my fam happy fathers day. Most of the moms in the fam all sent all the other moms happy fathers day since they take on both roles 🤣
Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. 🙁 *hugs*
This is probably going to sound mean, but the fact that I'm expected to wish people who aren't my parents a happy mother's/father's day makes those days kinda weird for me.
I love it. Getting to spend time with my old man and having some beers, hanging out with my grandfather and playing some pool and going to a pub for some beers and food, what could be better!
All these "Days" are just a cynical means of promoting consumerism.
I don't know how much the greetings card industry is worth, but I know the earth can't afford it.
It is a day we try to make our dad happy. We show our love through food he enjoys (sisters and me). By the way cute picture.
My father line for life. " my son, this is your life. You are only one who can decide. Choice is yours. "
I grew up with an emotionally absent father and it's been 10 years since my parents got divorced.
So, it was just like any other day😆
I know what you mean. I just lost my father in law ( was more a father to me than anyone, long story) and this weekend SUCKED.
May your father be in heaven , I think it's a great day.
It's ok my grandpa passed away two years ago and miss him dear I y
My condolences 🥺😭 Stay strong lovely 🎀💖🎀
Think it's stupid. If you have a birthday, why do you need fathers day too
I'm sorry to hear that ❤
