Why do so many gay guys have a lot of female friends?

Actually a really easy answer... Aside from the idea that there mind set are similar and can enjoy more similar things (let's face it... Makeup tips aren't the most exciting for most guys) but more importantly... Girls are greatly less threatened... They don't have to worry about them trying to get in there pants or anything like that, so they can open up more.

Think of how you are with your best friends vs your partner. There's a difference in comfort and what your willing to share and open up to.

And from the guys perspective... A gay guy probably feels more comfortable talking to a girl about sencitive subjects cuz they connect more.

Not that all gay men a feminine... But then again neither are all wemon xD

Either cause they bind better with women due to similar choice of sexual partner or cause they find it easier to befriend women as some straight guys are uncomfortable with being friends with a gay guy.

Well I think its mostly because they aren't sexually or romantically attracted to girls. So it makes talking to them easier? I don't know if you get what I'm saying 😂

Because they have similar tastes. You look at most single sex groups, they gossip about whatever hot celebrity or guy, and a gay guy can join in that the gossip.

Because most men who aren't gay can't openly accept a gay friend. This is why so many gay and bi men stay in the closet.

Why is it their business? I don’t talk about dating and shit that much with my friends though.

If a man is openly gay, then other males will ostracize him. I don't make the rules - I just see what happens and am truthful about what I see. I am bi, but I keep that to myself and my friends don't know. Most of them would probably not care, but some would, and the rest would have to by proxy, or be accused of being gay.. It's still a put-down among peers, and that's the reality of it. Progress is changing that, but it's slow and not likely to change much in our lifetimes.
