I think this sends a totally horrible message, to people, and kids! Like is is OK, if a parent doesn't even bother with getting up, to see what happened, caring for a child, but rather is so focused on a cat!!

What horrible, idiot, parent, well, someone that shouldn't have had kids, in the first place, would act like that?

Omg I hate this commerical! It always comes on during my kids shows. I'm like why does nick jr think this is appropriate to be showing to kids? That bitch is literally ignoring her hurt child and tending to the cat instead. 😑

My issue is that, as a paramedic, I've met plenty in real life just like her; sociopaths who should be kept away from children.
My best friend's wife actually looks just like this actress (glasses, big nose, and all) and a acts just like her in the commercial; she's had the courts take her kids away for her actions.
(Funny thing is, she's a nurse practitioner - psych, of all things- and the state won't take her license away...).
I'm all for free speech (by real people, not ad agencies), but things like this point to a society where media - represented by those same ad agencies - is trying to normalize abuse. That is as disgusting as it is destructive.
