Not much can be done about the physical sensation of the pads, but you can always suggest something to the company you use. As for being noticeable, unless the pad is is unusually thick or you are wearing a tight fitting outfit, no one will notice. I never have, but I suggest either thicker or lose fitting clothes for the duration you have the pad on if you're that worried about it. Overthinking is normal, though I would suggest that you focus more on the odor that may come with your period, I have a heightened sense of smell and can sometimes pick up on it. Usually the scent is not strong so it doesn't bother me, just gives me heads up that it's going on. Hope this helps...

Not noticable, if you don't wear super thin clothing.
Also pads are to be recommended over tampons. A friends mother is a pretty well regarded gynaecologist. She essentially explained the key issue with tampons are that they are all filled with perfume and the internal skin of the vagina socks it up and gets it into your bloodstream. Her recommendation was only using tampons when necessary (i. e for sports).
No I totally get it. Luckily I don't get periods anymore because of my contraceptive implant. It doesn't work for everyone and trust me it was the opposite at first I was constantly on my period for weeks but now in lucky if I get a light one for 2 days. I'd suggest looking at alternative.
I didn't like tampons at first but after awhile I got used to it. Pads can be uncomfortable but practical especially when you're on the go and don't have much free time
You can try Flexform pads which are less noticeable and better. I wouldn't suggest wearing tampons. Your still very young, a virgin and shouldn't be having just anything up there like that. While few virgins don't have a problem with it because every woman is different. It may not work for you because you're still growing and developing. I can't use them and they don't work for me. But I say it good to have at least one box just in case.

Usually they're not noticeable unless you're wearing leggings or something
I used to worry about the same stuff centuries ago when I was your age (wondering if it was noticeable), but I just wear a cup now, and honestly it is 100x better and more comfortable than a tampon or pad. I know there are period underwear, I've never tried them, but they could be an option for you.
I'm a dude but know some women that prefer period underwear... something like Thinx. No need to tampons or pads, wear like regular underwear and just throw them in a load of laundry.
Generally can't say I've ever particularly looked at some woman and thought "yep she sure is wearing a pad" though regarding that...- s
You're not overthinking, pads can be noticeable under clothes. But that depends on what you're wearing.
Or you're probably wearing the wrong size of pads. Have you thought about that?
Perhaps you can use menstrual cups. You're overthinking it. You can just wear thicket fabrics and/or wear told and dresses that cover the butt.
Or you can switch to menstrual cups. I'm glad that I made the switch, I'm never going back to pads again. You could get some paper towel, roll it up and use that. Disposable, cheap and reasonably effective when done right. I’ve done it before a few times a couple years back.
Dunno leggings weren’t a thing when I was a kid. I don’t like pads because they are uncomfortable and can give a rash. Menstrual cups and period Absorption panties the most comfortable option.
If you feel like others can see your pad and that makes you feel uncomfortable try to wear black and baggy clothes during your period, less chances of people noticing anything.
I tried tampons once and found out I couldn't use them. I've worn pads ever since. Try different pad brands and find what ones fit you best. Pads really aren't noticeable.
You can sometimes see them yes, you could try period underwear they feel just like normal underwear just a little thicker around the crotch area
I do not have the knowledge or experience to answer this question.
I can only offer my sympathy and hope you find something thats comfortable :(Overthinking because your uncomfortable?
They are uncomfortable.
That's why I wear tampons and I don't have blood all over my poon.
Is there a reason you prefer pads?I can only speak for myself, but I have never noticed a woman was wearing a pad.
It is not noticeable unless you wear super thick ones
i believe your over thinking its not noticeable do what makes you comfortable
weather a pad shows depends on how thick the pad is, material of the panty, and what pants ur wearing.
You are overthinking. The visibility depends on what kind of pants/jeans etc. are you wearing. I don't find tampons or menstrual cups very comfortable.
do what you gotta do to be more comfortable, simple as that
Pads are more comfortable and not noticeable, so don't overthinking about it
Maybe if the pants are really tight...
