What should I wear to see my boyfriends parents for the first time as a goth person?

I would say my style is somewhat goth and I don’t really have a lot of “normal” looking clothes. I also don’t want to be this different person when I meet his parents, so what should I wear that won’t scare off his parents but still be my style.

From experience... I'd say just "tone it down" as much as possible, while you're still "comfortable with yourself"
If the parents will judge or get upset or shocked or whatever, it will happen anyway. So it is best to handle it when you start it with the "less shocking" of the first impressions.
And try not to get that upset by why they might say IF they say something, especially grandparents... lol.

Most of the times people are against the perceptions and ideas they have about certain things like this, and is not exactly about you as a person.
