Do Same sex families screw up a kids moral and sexual compass?

Let's say you get adopted by 2 homosexual men. Would that child growing up with 2 fathers have a confused childhood? Compared to say a family with a biological mother and father. I don't think the kid growing up in a Homosexual ideal house would turn out with all his marbles.

if anything, you look at the bigoted posts on here from guys that came from hetro families, you have to ask, is there something in some cultures that simply drives hate and bigotry.

I would say it’s not the couple but the society they live in, how the couple adapt and learn from life around them, how to be nice to people and not just hate.

probably the worst thing In the world for any child are ultra religious parents or even ultra political parents.

sexuality is a minor thing when You consider the actual real world hate spewed out by hetro couples.

If I did end up marrying another guy and we adopted a kid, I would make sure that our relationship was not an influence for theirs. We would teach them to find someone they love and whether they end up being straight or gay, we'll support them so long as it is what they really want and not just what they're doing to appease us.

I can tell you that our kids are just fine. All 'A' honor roll. Our son is extremely advanced. Our daughter is a social butterfly and is easily able to make friends. Both are very empathic to others. Not sure of it would be any better if there were a man involved.

Families come in all different ways. A parents sexual orientation is not going to matter more than if they are a good or bad parent overall.

Kids grow up with relatives, only one parent, step parents, adoptive parents, grand parents, foster homes, orphanages, acquaintances or whatever else there is. Many still turn out fine! I just ask the question on if Homosexual parents raising a child has a detrimental effect on how the child perceives his sexual identity. If I had 2 dads I would have problems with my sexual identity.

Because they did not raise them correctly, coddled them, overly protected them, kept them from getting dirty when playing. Dressed their boys in girls clothing. Told their strait child they wanted a girl so they are going to have a vagina installed on their child.

No I don’t think it does. Man to man, women to women or man to women, it really comes down how they are as parents & their own individually morals & not their sexual attractive. Can a parent have an impact on their child’s morals? Absolutely. But it also comes down to the child if they choose to accept those morals or go in a different path, same sex parents or not. Children are capable of growing as individuals. However, children with same sex parents are pushed earlier to understand the ugly side of the world a little bit better example, discrimination. (Same sex couples) but thats not completely a bad thing. As I would know, I have two gay dads.
