Does any of your moms fart around you?

Do you think it's normal for a mom to fart around kids? My mom barely do it around me or my siblings, but my aunt doesn't mind doing it around my cousins. She freely does it at her home. Two days ago I was with my friend and her mother. I was in the backseat of their car. Her mom suddenly farted and then she blushed and apologized to me said that she forgot I was there. My friend started laughing and she told me "She does it all the time, sorry for that." Do you think it is normal to do that?

Very. My mom farts all the time in front of my brothers and sisters, but in fairness, my sisters and I fart in front of her way more than vice versa. Growing up, all of my friends’ moms would fart in the car and gas us out when they were driving. Hell, some of my friends’ moms would ask me to pull their fingers and then make a face and fart on purpose. Honestly I think it’s just a female thing and not something that pertains to moms specifically, we just tend to fart more than guys in my experience. But to answer your question, yes. It’s very normal for moms to fart in front of their kids.

I think you're correct. I don't usually do it around my family but I freely do it around my bestfriends. I think women are more comfortable to fart around other women but pretend to hate it in front of men. Tbh I like it when I do it loud when I'm alone lol. Maybe it's because we are taught that girls should act more decently that we tend to act like if we never do it, and blast them around other women to be a bit rebellious.

I have a mixed friend group and most of the girls including myself have no qualms about farting loudly and proudly in front of guys, but I think we’re the outliers there. It’s kind of interesting how farting seems to be such a crucial part of female bonding for most female friend groups, though.

I wish it was normalized for girls to fart just like guys, because it's just a human thing and not a taboo.

Yeah, it sucks but you just need to learn to disregard other people’s opinions on stuff like that and just do what makes you comfortable when you need to.

That's true. It needs to be treated as a normal thing which people can just do rather than a taboo.

I think it's okay as far as you're at home. I don't do it always, but sometimes I do it around my family. It would be a problem if you do it somewhere public because other people may get annoyed. As long as your family or friends don't find it annoying I think it's totally fine.

My mom used to fart freely when I was a small kid. One of my friends once told me and others in our circle that her mother can think and fart whenever she wants and that it makes her laugh all the time. Another friend told me how his girlfriend would fart laugh with him. I think some women do it around people whom they are very comfortable with. I don't see anything wrong in it.
