Nothing is embarrassing when my kids come ask me.
One specific one from my son, he was around 6 or 7. He wanted to know why his penis gets hard. I told him, that his penis is very normal. That boys as young as babies in mommies belly they get hard. And he didn't have to tell me every morning. The only time he needs to tell me is when he realized after more than 3 days to a week that he doesn't get hard in the morning, then we need to get check from the doctor.
I smile at him, kissed him on his forehead. Said you are a healthy kids lets get up and get started with the day.
At some point, he asked me about wet dream and asked if it means drooling. He might be 9 or 10. I said, no. But will tell him when he is around 12-13 years. old.
Couple of weeks back. I took the initiative and reminded him he had asked me that question and didn't forget him :)
I said, boys get wet dreams around his age... since he is not getting yet, it can start around 13 or 14... its all normal. Which means, he is starting to produce sperms in his testicles. Each day, it gets filled up and it can hurt a bit. At that point, it needs to be release by coming out from his penis... usually when boys lease expected during their sleep. So they will feel the wetness...

I elabrate more... but you get the idea.

My daughter however has a lot more issues with this area.

My daughter was a victim of internet predator for perhaps 2 years. from around age 8-10.
The man showed her things beyond her age, emotional, physically ready to comprehend.
We knew some off issues, but we thought might be the divorce. Now might be both that's hurting her.
So when she asked deeper questions about women moaning. At that age, I said its for grown ups and will tell her when she gets older. But we found why she asked such questions.
We are still trying to get her help with what she went through those years. Too long for a child to be abused online. But we are working her to help her with her self worth and understand its not her fault but to lover herself, her body and focus on study, friends, and that she has an amazing family who love her.
