For context I was staying at my cousins house for the time being since my mom and step dad were out of the country on a business trip. I got into a fight with him that tbh wasn’t even that big, but it ended with him putting me in a choke hold and literally fucking choking me. So obviously I was scratching him and punching to try and get him off me but all my aunt did was record the situation and she tried to gas light me and make it feel like I was acting all crazy before all of that but in reality I was doing it in self defense cause I literally couldn’t breath.
And her dumb ass had the nerve to say she’s going to send it to the police? First of all, I’m not even old enough to be charged with anything. (Im 15, in my state the age where a minor would face jail or anything like that is 16) Second off my uncle isn’t my legal guardian so he would be the one getting his ass In jail to begin with.
Anyways, I hate him and my aunt, plus my cousins. The reason why I include all of them was because they literally sat their and watched everything take place and did nothing. When I called them out for being weird and not helping me they tried to gas light me and say I shouldn’t be behaving bad. I was crying a lot and just wanted to be by myself so I tried locking myself in the bathroom but my uncle blocked the way.
Anyways, I now don’t live with the, thankfully and I hope I never go to their house ever again.

You speak from ignorance. Apparently, you have never heard of: 1) self-defense 2) being charged as an adult (yes, this happens) 3) Keeping your mouth shut so your words cannot be used against you in court.
Look, what happened between you and your relatives and your now mutual hatred is irrelevant to me. I don't care about your drama.
But, I am answering this question to give you the education and attitude adjustment that your smug-yet-ignorant 15-year old self needs.
OK, I won't go ballistic, but you need to understand a few things about the real world and adults.
1. You got into a physical altercation with your uncle. You are in his home. He could have shot you and killed you and everything would be fine for him legally. Why? Because it's HIS home and he's protecting himself and his family and, if he felt he was in imminent danger, killing you would have been legally justified. It's one reason we have the 2nd Amendment.
2. Just because you are not 18 doesn't mean shit in many cases. Especially since you are 15 and know right-from-wrong. This means if the courts believe that you know right from wrong and commit a criminal act, they are going to prosecute you as an adult. The only real leniency you will get is that they won't execute minors - that is, you wouldn't get the death penalty... You can thank the US Supreme Court for that. But, the US Supreme Court could always change its opinion and permit the execution of minors. The US has a history of being good at killing people including our criminal children. So, don't you ever think you can get away with crimes because you are under 18.
3. Shooting your mouth off like you did hear is EVIDENCE that can be used against you that you know right from wrong. Furthermore, your cavalier (and ignorant) attitude that you are immune to prosecution so that you feel liberated to commit a crime is all the more damning in that it implies intent to commit crimes. Again, evidence that can be used against you in court... and there's no 5th Amendment to protect you from yourself when you shoot your mouth off on the web...

Again, I am not taking sides in the situation between you and your relatives. And, frankly, I don't give a shit and most people in the real world don't. Understand this fact. We all have our own issues with other people including family, so hearing about such crap from an angry emotional 15-year old is something that is easily ignored with people thinking "Fucking grow up and deal with it."
I know it sounds like I am coming down hard on you and I hope the situation in your family gets better, but I really felt compelled that you needed a major attitude adjustment and education where the law is concerned. Right now, your legal understanding is coming from the bullshit you hear from other kids who think they know. It's all fucking hearsay (look that up - it's a legal term).
Finally, be thankful they didn't kill you. They could have and probably would have gotten off scot-free. Why? Because, in the real world, there's always going to be at least one juror who'd love to kill a bratty kid and so will vote to acquit.
LEARN THIS: THE REAL WORLD IS MUCH DIFFERENT THAN THE SHIT YOU SEE ON TV OR THAT YOUR FRIENDS THINK. FURTHERMORE, THOSE OLDER THAN YOU ___WERE___ YOU. THEY CAN OUT-THINK YOU BECAUSE THEY HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE AND KNOWLEDGE IS THE GREATEST WEAPON THERE IS.

How tf would I be a danger to him? I’m 5”2 and 102 lb and he’s a whole grown ass 6”0 dude who obviously is stronger. I did not get violent, he was choking me just because we got into a argument where I wasn’t even yelling. He was the one acting like the child and yelling at the top of his lungs.
I don’t need your attitude adjustment advice, I’m obviously pissed off I have a family that treats me like ass. And they can’t use a random anonymous question off the internet as evidence?
I literally already explained that I was the one defending my own self because he put his hands on me first and was hurting me. I’m not going to be charged as an adult for that. There’s no reason a grown ass man should be scared off a teenage girl.
It doesn't matter if you are 5' 2" and 102 pounds. Hypothetically, if you attacked first and got in a good blow, then he'd consider you a danger. Besides, even if you didn't attack first, then, if he kills you in his home and his family backs up the story that you were a threat, all that is needed is one juror out of 12 to suspect that his killing you was justifiable and he gets off with killing you.
(What WOULD then happen is that your parents would file a wrongful death suit in civil court and sue the family, but that's another story.)
Look, I am not interested in what went on... And I believe you, so don't sweat it.
What I am trying to teach you is about the realities of the adult world and the legal system. WAAAAAY too many kids think they know it and don't and then get fucked-over by the criminal justice system. That was my point in replying... to teach you that.
Ask Evan Miller about that... Evan was 14 years old when he killed 52-year old Cole Cannon in 2003. Evan was sentenced to "life without parole" meaning he will never leave prison alive.

I was giving you a hypothetical - what COULD have occurred - not what did occur. I discussed that so you would understand some of the subtleties of law and that it's not as simple as you think.

Not wrong at all. he was very much in the wrong, Even if it’s his house and you had done something horrendous, there is a thing of minimum force. He went well past that,
a guy getting hit by a young teen should pretty much just take it, putting someone in a choke hold is just fucking stupid.

No, I was going to leave the house to get privacy so I could cry (I’m sensitive to being yelled at) and after that he stopped me by putting me in a choke hold and choking me. I also think it’s unfair he did this to me because he has six children, one of them a girl and the rest all boys. Some of his children have doe WAYYY WORST and he’s never hit them or choked them so this isn’t a normal thing.
If I go to the police I might get taken away or cps called and my dad would get angry and try to take my moms custody away which will be a whole situation because I know my dad doesn’t care about me either so he would probably leave me in the system
