Why dont people want to hang out with me?

I know a lot of people but I have a little bit of friends. At most I have like two friends and I dont hang out with them cause they're always busy. Most people dont want to hang out with me. I've tried inviting some aquaintences to hang out but they always cancel last minute which hurts. I know they say theyre busy but I doubt it since this happens almost all the time. I used to wonder what was wrong with me. Like it seems nobody wants to hang out with me. I used to wonder if it was the way i dressed or looked but (not trying to sound mean) I've seen girls who are 300 pounds and theyre popular. By the way im in my 20s. So I figured it must not be that (i think). But there's something off with me. Everywhere I go i see poeple socializing so easily but when I try to talk people look at me weird. Like they look uncomfortable. I dont think im weird but my vibe probably sends that message. I dont know if its because they can sense im nervous, shy, awkard, sad, mad or I don't know. Any advice would be appreciated. If you need more info about me I'll be glad to let you know. I just want a solid reason because im getting depressed seeing everyone else have fun in their 20s while im stuck at home with nothing to do.

It might be because people might feel they you're nervous. Maybe you just need to practice on how to be more comfortable around others. I know how you feel people don't want to hang with me either too tough. Try to relax and not so timid or look more approachable and smile. Best of luck to you!

I appreciate this. Its jsut so hard to relax cause I struggle with bad anxiety and sometimes it robs me of my happiness. I wonder why girls though in particular dont want to hang out with me. Im a girl though by the way. I mean guys dont mean because i think they want to date but i really have no girl friends. Like they ignore me a lot which is weird cause i dont think theyre really like this with anyone else. Also i actually have a lot of followers on instagram (about 2,000) but i only get a little bit of like (80-100) why is that do you know?

Lot's of girls can be jealous or have their own reasons. I know a lot of women can be catty just because they can be. Don't let it bother you as much, I know it can because it happens to me with women all the time. Just know it's nothing wrong with you. Just need people to click with. It can be hard in this day and age. If you can't find a good girl friend then a good guy friend is good too as long as they're genuine about being only platonic
