Just look at the people you're drawn to. If you choose a boyfriend who says you're a bad person, then you chose a boyfriend who is just using you and doesn't care about you. Don't connect just to connect. Pick friends and relationships based on the patterns you already see in them. Never expect others to change for you. If you want giving, caring people in your life, seek them out and become part of their environment. If they're not already showing those signs, it's unlikely they'll show you them in the future.
