Why dont I have friends?

Customers at my job and elderly people seem to like me very much , but people my age dont seem to want to be friends). I've tried so hard to make girl-friends or any friends for that matter but nothing. Im nice fun and outgoing... what gives :/. Everytime i go clubbing with a girl-friend she never wants to go with me again even if we are laughing, dancing and having a great time.

Dunno what the situation is, but I think sometimes people who struggle to make friends sabotage themselves because they are so eager to make friends and so afraid of being rejected that they try too hard and put on a facade, and then people don't actually respond to that and it might be better if they dared to be themselves instead of trying to people-please. If you people-please, there's a risk that people will see you as a pushover and take you for granted, even if they don't intend to. But it's your job to stand up for yourself and what you believe.

Start paying attention to what you say to people and what their eyes do when they hear it.


Mouths lie, eyes do not.


If you understand how to read eyes, then you’ll figure out very quickly if it’s something about the way you speak to others that is putting them off.


One of my friends was avoided by all of the other kids in my school and he didn’t understand why, at first, I didn’t either.


Then I paid attention to how others reacted when he spoke.


Their eyes showed concern when he was speaking excitedly.


He was speaking too loud and it made him sound intimidating even though he was just really excited.


I told him about it and after some practice he got the hang of controlling his voice. Now he has a lot of friends.
