Should I see my sister wanting to go to the Brooklyn Labor Day parade with my husband as a red flag?

I just recently found out that the reason why my sister started getting upset with my husband and turned my mother against him was because she asked my husband if she could go to the Brooklyn Labor Day Parade with him and his friend while they sold nutcrackers. He told her that he’ll stay home and she could go with his friend to sell them. She got upset because she wanted him to come along. My husband didn’t want to go because he knew that she would whine on him and he didn’t want any parts of that.
She has since started a smear campaign against him.
I find it very strange that she would be so angry about him not wanting to go with her. I also find it strange for her to ask to go with him in the first place. Am I wrong for thinking this?

No... Why would you? Maybe she just wants some guy with her to feel safe? My mom would very often tell me to go with my sisters somewhere simply to discourage any creeps.

I can understand that. But the thing is, she was never going to go or even had the thought in her mind to go until she found out my husband was going. And she got upset when she found out my husband was going and it would be her and his friend. She still had a male attendant with her to make her feel safe.
She hasn’t been to the parade in over a decade. This parade is full of whining music where everyone grinds on each other as the music plays. Dancing with the company you came with is what people do normally. The friend who went with her came back and said they drank the nutcrackers instead of selling them and was grinding all day with each other.

There was also an incident where she called him by her place and had her dildo in her hand and told him that she just likes carrying her favorite toy around while looking him straight in his eyes. He felt uncomfortable and left

Ok, that last part withe her favorite toy seems inappropriate... You should talk to her. Maybe she just needs a boyfriend? Try helping her find one. I doubt she deliberately wants to sleep with your husband. She's probably just super horny.

You sound so sweet. I used to think just like you, but I no longer choose to infinite the huge red flags. She is my older sister and knows better than to engage in this type of behavior. She stopped talking to me because my husband surprised me with a new car. Instead of saying congratulations, she stoped speaking to me and then went to my husband and started to complain about me to him saying it’s my fault that she is not talking to me.
