This question embarrasses me.
Yeah you get
1) a house to live in
2) the privilege of being my wife
No, if someone is my wife, we share all our money, why would I give her pay/allowance? If it's mine, it's already hers.
The husband is working so she can be a housewife. I don't understand the question. He's already taking care of her financially.
Yes, if the husband do not allow her to work. Unless she is a lazy type
I can live in the dirt without problems, she can't, so she cleans.
... my wife would really just need to ask and have basically any reason and id give her mons. Lul
Partners should have a shared family income. The best way to share it varies.
I feel you have a diseased idea of what marriage is by your options.
You shouldn't have to ask your husband's permission to spend money. If she's the housewife the money he earns should of both
That’s called being a baby momma aka a hoe
No. As if men busting their ass to get slaved around at work all day to put a roof over everybody's head and buy the wife and kids everything they want for free isn't already enough.
Do you have any idea how much full time nannies make? Lol
I know a family that had a live in nanny. She got paid 100k a year. Was provided a care while being employed and did not have to pay any rent or utilities. She had Monday and Tuesday’s off as well as days because kids were in school. It’s not an easy job but still a pretty good deal for her.
@Subarugirl Being a nanny is a profession for other people's families. A housewife isn't a profession. So why should a housewife be entitled to her husband's money especially if he's paying for all the finances? If she wants to be a nanny then she can find a job board online and fill out an application.
Yes, she could. That would be up to that family what they decide their dynamic will be.
@annabananna Exactly, from what I have seen, usually it’s the man who wants a house wife, why would he marry someone if that not what he wanted.
I give my girlfriend an allowance and pay her bills since she does all the cooking and cleaning.
Paid by whom? Their husbands? Then that’s an expense. Paid by the government? then that’s a subsidy.
I say sure minimum wage at least. I mean staying home lot of times dealing with the kids 24/7 nah.
No you'll get the dead beats breading constantly to get more money
Women do get paid for being housewives. They always have.
Literally just become a maid.
It’s called being a maid.
Is she going to pay me for the yard work and fixing things around the house. I'll give her an allowance and charge rent then
wtf kinda question is this lol
that sounds like a butler lol
That’s called being a maid
Or nanny or whatever
They do. It's called free rent and food. Lol
Should women also pay the rent if she is living in a house owned by her husband?
And if the woman is already strong and independent, then she must be earning her own money since she's earning her own money. Then she's not doing all the chores by her self. The couple must've hired a maid. And you have to pay the maid.
Being a housewife isn't a profession.
Lol you wanna know how much full time nannies make?
@Subarugirl they aren't housewives
You're right, stay at home mothers do more...
@Subarugirl like sex? Because depending on the type of nanny you have, they can find something else.
That's always what you guys go back to... no not like sex. Like a nurse, chauffeur, cook, teacher, playmate, housekeeper, laundry attendant, accountant, and babysitter all rolled into one. Being a stay at home mother is a 24/7 job.
According to 2019 data from Salary. com, if you are a stay-at-home mom (or dad) and paid for your services, you would be looking at a median annual salary of $178,201.
@Subarugirl it's still not a profession because you don't apply for it or go through any official training.
It's called on the job training.
No. She is cooking and cleaning for herself too
Can your husband fire you
That’s equivalent to divorce
@cryscrys1 My boss has been threatening to fire me at work, are you saying that if he does so a judge will give me half his assets whooooopy!!!
@cryscrys1 And will he also have to pay me alimony and go to jail if he doesn't
guys are trying to make their wife became slaves
Creating a situation where a person is dependent on you to meet their basic need is tool that abusers use.
You can't be a housewife and not be married.
They should get paid with sex, not money.
My wife is the housewife and I give her the money
Nope and neitherbshould men
No.
Unless it's somebody elses kids/family
Lol. Isn't that the same thing? ... and her husband is going to work and make money for that family as well? 😒
In a relationship it's an equal partnership with obligations. Both have to pull their weight for mutually beneficial outcomes.
Depends on the legal framework.
Yes.
Yes.
They do indirectly
Be a maid 😂😂😂
No they shouldn't.
Paid by who?
Lol what?
They do.
no...
Do men even get paid
