It sounds like that situation between those two Brooklyn boys and streets of gold where one was becoming a world-class boxer while the other one was getting left behind and one got jealous of the other because he felt like he would rather hold his friend down and keep them at his level then he would see his friends succeed in life when he was not. Maybe you're outgrowing your friends maybe it's time you can find some friends your own maturity level

I think feeling a little jealousy is normal. But there is a line or what's normal/okay. We're naturally competitive, so there's always going to be a little bit of that if someone jumps way ahead.
But true friends should have a far greater sense of happiness for you then any insecurity they might feel. Like if they cannot be happy for you, then they're not your friend in my opinion
They’re only making remarks about you having money. What’s the problem? You earned it. You spend it. Does it matter what anyone else thinks?
Some of them do but i have nice friends they dont do that, they always support me

Your friends are selfish twits.
On the other hand, of course don’t HAVE to tell other people when you buy something (generally speaking). I actually recently took a step back from hanging with some people who were always whining about things. It’s toxic. It's a great way to find out who your real friends are.
Yeah, somewhat. It's natural to be some what jealous and frustrated when you feel like you can't make progress where other people can.
I don’t get jealous of my friends for moving up on the world. I’d congratulate them.
Yes they do. But make no mistake, that jealousy if achieved. So good for you!!
Not your real friends. Just the fake ones
Than they are not real friends.
