Just say no to the friend zone?

Do you think that girls more often than not abuse their "power" (he likes me so I'm sure he'll do what I ask) over guys they put in the friend zone?

To be honest I think both genders abuse that knowledge. Personally, there has been a guy that has admitted his love for me many times in the past few years. Coincidentally he's my very best friend in the world, but he'd drop anything for me and I know it. The only way I've ever taken advantage of him is when I want something. All I have to do is mention a book I've been wanting and he'll go out of his way to drop by a book store. More than anything, guys in the friend zone think they can buy their way in. When I say buy, I mean by doing as the girl asks, trying to impress her and show her he can be a gentleman. But guys aren't completely innocent, girls can get stuck in the friend zone, too! A lot of us go through it, it's even possible some of us have experienced both sides. But to answer your question thoroughly, I don't think someone abuses their "power" more often than not. I think it's just an every now and then or one time thing. Maybe it's just me! Maybe it depends on the morals of the person. That's humanity.

I think the girls that do this do it because the guy lets them. When a girl knows a guy likes her but isn't attracted to him she puts him in friend zone. And maybe by her asking him to do stuff for her the boy has hopes of her liking him back. Personally I think it's wrong to do that to a person but some girls think it's fine to use their "power" over a guy.

I don't do this. But, should the guy really be blaming the girl when it's only happening because he's allowing it to happen? If she's really abusing it she absolutely has some blame too, but really, if the guy didn't want it to happen, it wouldn't be happening. Nobody's forcing him to do whatever the pretty girl says.

Whether they do it intentionally or not, it does happen. Women don't realize that their guy friends don't actually want to listen to them bitch about coworkers for a solid hour, or help them move a couch up a flight of stairs or whatever, but most women have at least one friendzoned guy who is so desperate for female contact he will do anything for it.

friend zone is a place where girls put guys they're not attracted to. Or they feel bad so they tell the guys they can be friends. I'm sure subconsciously they use it to their advantage though.

Of course. Positive attention is something the ego will always enjoy, which can be done without reciprocating in the "friend zone" case.
