I had a Cassie friend I met in high school. She became obsessed with this guy in our class who didn't like her. He was so verbally abusive to her, but she took it because she just wanted him. It was gross and pathetic. When we graduated, we both went to the same college and she immediately started dating a married man and was so delusional about him wanting her as much as she wanted him. He made it clear he'd never leave his wife and she didn't listen. We had so many talks about how this was going to blow up in her face, and it did. He dumped her, she couldn't handle it, things got ugly, she turned into a stalker, this was my last straw that ended our friendship because I couldn't deal with her BS crying and screaming phone calls and conversations like she was the victim every friggin' day. Our friendship ended years ago, but out of no where, she invited me to her baby shower. Didn't know she was pregnant, didn't follow her life, but according to the friends that still hang out with her, the father is no where to be found. That checks.

I see Cassie as a codependent person who has an identity crisis so in that respect, I can relate to her since I used to be her through my teen to early 20s. Thank goodness I stepped out of that after a huge wake-up call from being in toxic relationships. It was kind of hard to watch her, especially since we have the same body type and would get the same friggin behavior from those piggy men who would lust after. I'm thankful I never crossed the line in taking friends' leftovers ( exes ) etc., but the way she was taken advantage of due to her insecurity was hard to watch at times.

I feel for her but she needs therapy and to become celibate stat!

I don’t sympathize for Cassie and I don’t think I ever will because I was a Maddy two years ago when an ex friend of mine who was already toxic towards me for no reason and would bring me down a lot came back into my life after 2 1/2 years of not talking to each other, she came back looking completely different I didn’t even recognize her wanna know why? Because she went and got shIt done to her face to look like me, she started to dress like me and did her hair like me, copied facial expression, copied my smile, she dated guys that used to like me a lot, and she even told me her other friends made her feel bad and because of her height compared to them and then proceeded to make fun of my height because I’m average. Get me why I can’t stand Cassie? Or Cassie’s? I was TRAUMATIZED by that girl. I’m still trying to cope with it and I go to therapy. I had multiple amounts of panic attacks sleepless nights because it was such a terrifying experience, she creeped me out in so many ways.

And what hurt he most is that I actually thought she was my friend and I offered her my friend ship only to be betrayed and stepped on. That’s what hurt the most.

And even when I confronted her she was like “eh okay bye” and didn’t care so that spoke highly of her.

She “studied” me by stalking me and my family and would take pictures of me behind my back and my family.

I used to thrive on having best friends as a teenager but I’m not my own best friend cause I don’t trust anyone. Although I do know that just as I am a confident girl there are plenty of other confident girls who wouldn’t do that. There’s just less of them lol.

Cassie (blonde) and Maddy (brunette) were best friends. Maddy was in a toxic relationship with this guy Nate, they broke up and Nate and Cassie started fucking behind Maddys back. Then Cassie even started to dress like Maddy when Nate was losing interest in her (shown in the picture). All while Maddy was talking about getting back together with him.
