My mom blocked my number after an argument and now my stepdad is also ignoring me. What should I do?

I think they’d be happier without me in their life. Anyway my mom and I got into a big argument about a lot of things Saturday morning and she blocked my number. It was sort of sudden. We’ve gotten in fights before but she never blocked my number. I’m afraid she’ll never talk to me again. :(

Honestly if you want to be a part of their lives, and if you are truly sorry for what was said, write them a letter, handwritten.

I sent her a letter over email. I haven’t gotten a reply or anything but it was earlier today.

In my experience, email doesn't cut it, there is something far more personal about a proper handwritten letter, it just sinks in more.

I mean it got heated. I said something I regret which was “you’re a horrible parent” at the end. But she brought up so many sensitive topics in the call and I also mentioned to her that if she was there for me more growing up then maybe I’d be better at managing my emotions.

Coming from someone who's said that to their own mom, I'd let that bridge burn. I don't have a relationship with my mom because she was never there for me as a kid, medicated me to make me more obedient, and never stopped trashing my step mom.

I got into an argument 6 years ago with my mom, and I blocked her number and I never spoke to her again, and changed jobs and moved so she couldn't find me.

It was a hard choice, but it was what I thought was best to be happy. If they can't acknowledge what you say as being a bad parent and hear why, damn. That sucks, bye.
