Women in their later 20’s, would you be uncomfortable being a friend with a 21 year old woman?

This is probably a stupid question, and I apologize in advice.

There’s a woman in a discord group I’m in, for a shared interest. She only lives 20 minutes away from me, and we were planning to meet up with her and her husband sometime next week. We’ve been bonding over a heavy shared experience lately. Her husband is in his early 30’s, and she’s in her late 20’s, like 27-29. Her husband knows our ages, and was shocked, but not offput. I don’t think she know ours ages. I’m only 21, and my husband is 23.

I’m worried she will feel weird once she finds out. I’ve never been friends with a woman that much older than me, and I’m just curious if someone that age would feel weird about being friends with/hugging someone younger LOL

Hi and it's not a stupid question. We all overthink things. I say it's not weird at all, I'm 33 and I have friends of all ages it just depends how mature they are and if I like their company and vice versa if they like mine. I have a co worker and she's like in her 50's and we have hung out outside of work. I have friends that are 25 years old as well so it just depends if you get along

Well, being considerably older than 21, I would recommend not to worry about age differences with your friends. I have female friends who are 10-15 years younger, as wells others similarly older, than me. With some of them, I have quite close friendships. Once the minds and souls align, age difference is not that important in relations. Maturity also takes care of the gap, and I met many mature women in their early twenties.
