What do you think of having a family mediator for when people have disagreements in the family?

My boyfriend said he has a family mediator (his grandpa). When people disagree they see him to help resolve it. What do you think of this?

It’s better than it escalating and it breaking out into verbal or physical fights.


I wouldn’t mind it, because they can see it from a different perspective and bring in logic and reasoning. We all need that when things get escalated sometimes, so it’s not a bad idea.


That’s what relationship counseling is for too. People need mediators for all types of things.

I think that can happen only in Asian countries and in joint families
