How do I convince my parents to let me wear makeup?

Okay so, I want to wear makeup. Not heavy or "sexy" makeup, more of like a "natural" makeup look. You know blush, powder to make my skin look smooth, concealer to cover my eyebags and natural pink color on my lips. Maybe make my eyebrows look a bit more healthy and fuller.
The problem is that my parents don't allow me to wear makeup, ESPECIALLY my dad. My dad didn't even let my mom wear makeup to their wedding.
I bought some lipgloss with my younger sister today, and my mom told me that I wasn't allowed to wear it outside even though it was just lipgloss. She said that "women wear lipstick to look hot and sexy for men".
But that's not my intention!
I just want to feel pretty and confident, I don't want to look sexy or hot.
I look very tired and unhealthy, I barely have color on my face. I am pale and my lips are pale too, my eyebrows aren't very pretty, I have pimples and I have heavy eyebags.
I don't know how to convince them to let me wear makeup.
if you're wondering about my age, I am 14 going 15 this year.
And no, it's not that my dad thinks I'm "too young" and will let me wear makeup when I'm older, he won't even let my mom wear make up currently even if it would just be some blush, and she is almost in her 40's!

OK, bear with me. If your dad doesn't even let your mom wear makeup, and you are 14/15, it doesn't sound very likely that anything you do or say will help. However, my mother was the same way and here's the little advice I can give.
1. Sit them down and ask them calmly and politely to hear you out.
2. Have an adult conversation with them about what makeup means to you, why you feel that way. About why you think you want to wear makeup, and how you think makeup will help. About why you think that you are ready to start wearing makeup, and how you will be responsible while wearing it. Tell them that you don't WANT to wear the sexy kind, relay to them that you want your makeup to look more natural.
3. RESPECT THEIR OPINIONS, RULES, AND ABOVE ALL ELSE PLEASE RESPECT THEIR ULTIMATE DECISION! They are your parents, and while what they say and do may not be fair, you are still their child and living under their roof. You ARE considered a minor.
4. If they don't want to hear you out, or they say no, ask if it would be okay to just use makeup to cover your eyebags, or if they'd be okay with you wearing makeup only around the house. That way you can prove to them you aren't trying to catch a boy's eye.
5. I wish you luck. Things will get better, even if they still say no. You are so close to becoming an adult, you can do this.

Don't really know for sure if there is much you can do seeing as your parents seem to be pretty conservative on this front. Seeing as you just want to wear the natural stuff, wear it at school or when you're away. Girls have been doing their make-up in the school bathroom forever. Just remember to take it off before you leave. I personally don't see any issue with this because it's your body and you have autonomy over it, and as long as you're washing and taking care of your skin, you aren't causing any harm to yourself by wearing it. But if you don't feel comfortable doing the former, all you can do is talk to them honestly as to why you really want to wear make-up. It may not work, but all you can do is try.

It’s about taking it in small steps and using it in small amounts, so it’s almost natural.

then just gradually build it up.

Wear a very little bit as much as you can.

Prove you are not going to go OTT,

personally I see nothing wrong with it.

over Easter a friend of mine who is a make up artist did my daughter and her friend for a party.

it’s like trying to stop time, some things it’s best to accept.

Nope, unfortunately I don't have any tips. I don't know why your father is so against makeup. I understand in his beliefs makeup is used to make women look sexy and easy. I don't think you're ever going to change his mind and for some reason your mother buys into his stupid ideals

Get your dad to see a therapist. He clearly has issues. Jealousy issues. I wouldn't mess with him though. Specially if he is an extremist religious person.
Get some skin treatments for now to make you look better. Some face masks, vitamin treatments, exfoliation, etc.
Or you could try sth that's very hard but might work. Start wearing makeup a little bit at a time. Very tiny but unnoticeable. You will have to apply it EVERY SINGLE DAY though so that he gradually gets used to it and thinks it's your natural face. Increase the amount a little bit at a time.

Your mom and dad are right. Don't resist their rules. One day you will have independence and you can do whatever you want. Listen to your parents. Honestly wearing makeup to cover up your insecurities is a slippery slope... Trust me. Confidence is an inside thing. You don't need something outside to feel confident. You aren't letting yourself feel unconfident. Your desire to look better is rooted in other people. It is very subconscious. It may not be men but simply people and society in general. Listen to your parents and then when you're 18 u can learn for yourself. You got plenty of time trust me. If feels like you dont but you do.

Wear very little and natural stuff. A bit of concealer under your eyes. A little bit blush. Something that’s hardly noticeable. And then you slowly build on from there.

As cliche as it is you’re still very young. You’ll have plenty of time to wear however much you want.

There's not much you can do. Maybe you can convince them to let you get a free makeover on your next birthday. Go to a Sephora or a department store makeup counter. Be sure and find a woman working there with very natural looking makeup! Ask her for a makeover and tell her your concerns and that you have never worn makeup. I did this for my daughters on their 14th birthdays and now if they wear makeup, it's very subtle and natural and they know how to apply it.

Show that you can use it conservatively and in good taste. Start with “just on the weekends” or “when I’m out with friends after school”. If you demonstrate responsibility, then ask for use everyday including school days. Sounds like you’ll do fine!

Realistically you aren't going to convince them if youve already used the sort of reasoning youve used here. I'd probably take a couple cracks at convincing them and if that fails, apply subtle makeup and avoid anything that can't easily be removed
