Would not be a problem, the idea of having kids is to be there for them.

If a person is unable to accept that their child may not be straight, then they really need to think about having kids in the first place.

The "treatment" you're referring to is illegal in many countries. It's called conversion therapy, look it up.

If my child said he/she was gay, I would say: "thank you for trusting me enough to come out to me. Do you want to talk about this over dinner?"

Nothing will ever change. I would still love my kid and support him. He can marry whomever he loves as long as I know that the person will take care of him and be his rock after I pass away.

@exitseven One of my friends is bisexual and another is asexual. They’re scared to come out to their own parents because they’ve observed them ridiculing/cussing at people of the LGBTQ community.

People are very conservative where I live. Same sex marriage is not recognised by the law. It sucks and my heart breaks for them
