Is it awkward if your some of your b-days lands on Mother's day?

My mother gave birth to me on May 8. That day is both my b-day and Mother's day. Isn't this awkward? Sometimes I feel like my day is one of the weirdest day ever.

Girls, if you had children... would you feel weird if on some Mother's day is also your child's b-day?

It’s my dads birthday on may 8th and mother’s day on may 8th.


Mother’s day falls on the second Sunday of May. Funnily, this year it falls on your birthday and mother’s day.


I don’t find it awkward. Just a coincidence. Doesn’t really matter anyway. Both of you get gifts, she gets a gift for being a mother, you get a gift for being born. Go figure

It's only a commercial day with little meaning to it that you your mother or anyone else was born on it.

I guess but poor mom. When I was a kid, she once had to do a kids birthday party right on Mother's day and she dedicated more time on me than on her.

besides... you stopped being a kid almost 20 years ago

which means, in the last... at least 10 years, you could have been doing her mothers day a great and special day

could have at least paid her a full Spa experience day, in the last five... so, have you done that?
