Does Mother’s Day trigger people who have absent or neglectful mothers?

We all know about the moms who cheated, got divorced to join the adult industry while disowning their children, etc. Nowadays moms are becoming as absent as men.

meh, it reminds me of it and it can cause some negative emotions i guess, but it doesn't trigger me. i just move on with my day and try to not to focus on it

It's hard for me because my mom and I had a turbulent past. As much as I want to give her a good mother's day, a lot of the reason it's so hard for me is because of her.
