It's great, she loves me so much and that contributed a lot to me being a stable and kind person. My dad is indifferent and I don't think he even understands the concept of being a father or a husband so I don't want him in my life. If I didn't have my mom it would have damaged me a lot. But now I don't think my fathers lack of interest and participation in raising me has had that big of an impact on me as a person because I was able to try and compensate a bit and try and get what I needed from other places. I'm very grateful anyway and she's very happy about me being in her life as well she loved me from the start but my father and my sister were both complete assholes to her so that makes our relationship even more important to both of us.

My mom is awesome. She taught me how to cook and she taught me about carpentry.

Probably chicken parmesan... I've adapted it a little to "make it mine"... our favorite that we make together is pepperoni rolls, but since my heart attack that's off the menu while I learn to make pepperoni with lower fat and salt.

She built all the furniture in my good-sized house (well a lot of it we made together, but ALL of it had her hands on it) It's all luxury wood like premium cherry built-ins with tigerwood trim throughout the reading room. Cost me less than garbage furniture from Target would have cost because she gets the wood SUPER cheap from a supplier that likes her. I had a contractor offer me 15k for the coffee table she made. I politely declined.

She was about four hours form flying back one time. I used to smoke, so I went out and grabbed a smoke. I came in and she'd ripped out my staircase. "This was ugly, we'll make it better." Hahah I'm like "mom... you leave soon" She just looked at the time and was like "well then get moving boy!"

I tell my mum nearly everything and we are really close. She is enraged nowadays due to my celebrity obsession. She can't stop calling him "the ugliest man ever" and telling me "I can find you a better looking guy". She keeps telling me his flaws and I disagree.

Pretty good! I took good care of her (my ex-sisters stole from her and wanted to put her into a home) and she trusted me!! When she got her monthly checks, she'd give me the money to divide up into several equal piles, stick each pile into a bank envelope and have me hide the envelopes around the house so the girls couldn't find them!
If I told her I was going to the store for groceries, she'd make me take a $20 out of her purse to pay for it. Rather than argue with her about it, I'd take the 20, go to the store and pay for everything with MY money and, the next time I took her to the bathroom, I'd put her 20 back into her purse!

Greed! My older sister took mom's check book and made her sign her bank account over to her because mom had a stroke and couldn't write with her right hand for a while. My sister told her it was just gonna be a temporary thing until mom was able to write again. Mom got better and kept asking for her checks back but my sister refused to give them to her and then, a couple years later, told her that she never asked for them!! ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT!! I sat right there at the kitchen table a number of times when mom was on the phone with her and I HEARD her asking for her checks back MANY times!! When that bitch refused, once they hung up, mom would complain to me about not being allowed to be in control of her own money!! Then, my youngest sister got HER name on that account, too!! When mom died a few years later, I was supposed to get all her money!! Well over $37,000!! Her bank told me how much was in it!! But, when I went to get it, it was gone!! Those two greedy bitches took it all and then the bank claimed there never WAS any $37,000 in her account!!
I was SUPPOSED to get a 50% share of the house and a life estate because mom did NOT want the house sold nor me being kicked to the curb!! But, that's EXACTLY what happened because those greedy bitches had me evicted from my own house and then sold it to get MORE money they didn't deserve!!
When my aunt cashed mom's monthly checks for her, she made sure she gave mom every last penny!! when my youngest sister cashed one of those checks, she ran right to the store and blew over $100 of it on groceries for herself and NEVER asked mom if it was okay!! Mom complained about that to me, too!!
