How do you handle someone calling you by (not name) when you told them what it is 70x?

Everyone has their own ways of dealing with stuff, especially with a name change. Or the name is not at all close to what they're saying and it seems like they aren't even trying. Who are they? Family, co-worker, friend since 2009, etc. So how many times are you gonna correct that person that your name is this, not that?

Often people call me by the wrong title - it's not "mr. Mayor" or "mr. Secretary", it's "Mayor" or "First Secretary". I remind them they are talking with a public official and that failure to address my title properly can result in a charge of insult to authority.

I have to - just because I do my best to be friendly and approachable, it does not mean people can disrespect me.
Another request I make, is that they do not call me just by first name or surname, but use my full name. I find it disrespectful to have my name "broken" in pieces.

In general I would just take it as a deliberate form of disrespect and just ignore the person, just my humble opinion
