My parents are at polar ends when it comes to nudity. My mom is very open to nudity but my dad isn't. Me my mom and my two brothers go on vacation like 3 times a year without my dad and she will go topless, should I ask her if I can join her or just do it?

If she's going topless, just do it. You don't have to ask permission in that situation. I'm a nudist, but so is my wife, so there's definitely agreement that nudity is fine in our family.

I am guessing you are not in Europe, it’s fairly much the norm going topless if you want to and beach allows.

You are 18, just do it if you are comfortable going topless and don't mind everyone seeing all of you or at least all of you above the waist. expect a few stares as well. If you think you want to try and handle that, then go for it.
