Could You Be Friends With Someone Who Is Transgender?

I think it depends on the person and how much emphasis they put on it. Some people put WAY too much into a segment on who they are that it gets annoying. I'm pretty tolerant and accepting of people, but if one aspect of yourself is portrayed as the ONLY aspect, then there will likely be problems because they tend to be overly self-absorbed/righteous. (Vegans get a bad rep because of this, for example)

I really like trans people. They're often really chill and fun to hang out with.

I'm sure I have worked with or befriended people I had no idea where transgender.

It really doesn't bother me. Some of the nicest people in my life are trans.

Of course.. I need my hair done. Or who's going to be the Estee Lauder, Dior, or Chanel consultant at Macy's? Most of the time it's either a gay or transgender. Did u know Christian Dior was gay? Jeffree Star is a trans and his makeup is better than Jenner or Fenty. The makeup brand Too Faced are a gay pair.

It depends. Do they pass? If so... sure. Although, being friends with a transgender person can be tricky, I feel. You don't wanna offend them and you don't wanna say they're making this up for attention. I guess it all depends on what their soul says.

Sure. I even made it a point to go to talk to fellow lonely students in Uni who were trans. No I didn't do it to ride a "moral high horse", they seemed nice. That's all. I don't agree with the Trans ideology. But that doesn't mean I can't respect them as people. So yeah I would.

I’d remain cordial but i dont truly seek friendship unless the person is straight and still acting as whatever sex they were born as. Atm i dont really seek friendship at all

If you mean going out in a group of friends and including them as part of the group? yes of course.. No problem with that at all.

That's not the determining factor. Are we getting on well? Are we on the same wavelength? Is this person into heavy metal? Do they have a dark sense of humour?
Their sexuality does not interest me.

A few of my friends are transgender. They’re cool people like anyone else. Not sure why them being trans matters, especially if sex isn’t even a concern.

Of course. I have a friend who is a transgender male, and him being trans doesn’t affect how I see him at all.
and I’ve met other trans people who I’ve gotten along with just fine
