5.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I have two acquaintances who are transgender. One is a trans-man and the other is a trans-woman. They decided to undergo medical mutation later in life. I understand that the trans-man thinks he made a mistake. Pain, infections. Surprise, surprise, the procedures didn't turn him into a woman as promised.
But they are really good people and aren't pushing any agenda. They just want to live their lives.
I understand that sexual dysphoria is a real thing for a very small minority of people
So yes, I'd be friends with a transgender person. But not with a weirdo who was coaxed and confused into thinking trans is cool by our education system. I want nothing to do with people who post their preferred pronouns and think trans is normal. All I can do is ignore them and feel bad about how mind fucked they are.
What I have a major problem with is the agenda to push transgenderism on women and children. The whole LGBTQ+ thing has gone completely off the rails. I oppose attempts to normalize gender weirdness. Those people can do what they want, but society has no obligation to humor their delusions or behaviors.00 Reply

+1 yAs long as they accept my views on them and don't make a scene when stuff happens, you know how they can be, and as long as they don't have some weird ass hair or weird ass clothes, or a mustache or something, I wouldn't mind, and no flirty shit or anger shit or anything, I guess there are too many variables I could think of, so maybe I don't accept them fully but I'll tolerate them if they check all boxes, so not necessarily friends but if they're friends with someone that's my friend then they can hangout...

I don't know how to describe my political beliefs and I'm Agnostic.

10 ReplyI have nothing in common with such people, so I picked "No".
I tried playing cards with a male to female transgender person and kept calling HIM "HIM". I don't believe in transsexualism. I consider it a mental illness, and because they refuse to acknowledge it's a mental illness, I figure they have neither the intelligence nor integrity to identify their own gender correctly, so why would I want to be their friend when intelligence and integrity are the two things I value most in a friend.
00 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes, however it is unlikely the transgendered person would be friends with me, given that I disagree with much of what the transgender community espouses. I have noticed that their community is very quick to label people who don't agree with them as hateful transphobes.

+1 yI was friends with a trans woman for a long time. She liked tabletop roleplaying systems and songwriting and bass guitar - we had a ton in common.
She eventually decided she didn't want to be friends with me anymore, though, because I am an alcoholic.00 Reply

+1 yFriendship for me does not depend on gender whether in between or not. If I feel close to someone, and I feel friendship for that person, his or her gender doesn't matter. The difference may even be enriching.

It obvious does depend on gender hence why you don't mind female pedophiles

@SunnyHeythere Says who? The topic here is friendship and transgender people, not paedophilia.

I know you love female pedophiles and try to protect them.

@SunnyHeythere The Catholic Church and the Boy Scouts are 100x worse than the worst of the LGBT

@SunnyHeythere Just stop talking nonsense. You don't know what you're talking about, safe if you're a man hiding behind a girl's profile... Once more, the topic here is not paedophilia.

+1 yProbably. But only under one condition. They must never, ever bring any of their woke shi+ into our friendship. If they treat me like a normal friend that I had during my teens and before then there will be no problem.
00 ReplyYeah.. I've known one or two living in Chicago.. They were cool.. One was a bit of a bully though.. As long as they don't make beings trans the most interesting part of them or their "identity"..

I'm politically central

Partners, no.
00 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Personally I don't mind trans people, I love to ask questions about them and why they did it. Honestly tho as long as they keep their political opinions away from me and don't try to date me than sure we can be friends

00 ReplyNo. Transgender people are just people who enjoy crossdressing bur can't come to terms with reality: that they're people who enjoy crossdressing and it's a fetish. If they admit it, I would be their friend.
