Ptsd and what could I do?

My 3 yr old son has ptsd from his father abusing him behind my back and I don't know what to do to help him. My child thinks his step father or myself are going to hurt him and he knows that we won't! We just don't have anymore ideas on trying to help him. Any suggestions?

It’s really a good idea to book him in with a child psychologist who specialises is PTSD, abuse.

it really is a case of being there for him, showing him you love him, keep him happy and rarely alone. If not going counselling route, look in to Cognitive behavioural therapy.

hmm maybe just show him we’ll try to show him that he is not his father maybe talk to him about it and explain to him that he is a safe male to be around and do some fun stuff
Like watch a movie or go out to diner or do some of his favorite activities all together That’s really all I can think, I’m sorry hope your situation gets better!

Does the father still have visitation?

No he gets 1 call a week with his father

You might finally with a child psychologist, just you, and see what they think.
