Are you an introvert or just an extrovert with social anxiety/shyness?

I read something online that said people who are extroverts with shyness issues will actually go online to get that human interaction but true introverts will chose things in their free time that calm them down more often. I have wondered before about what I am because I am a loner and I think I just took on the definition of introvert because t explained away by social failures and made me feel special or better about myself LMAO. But in my free time i do come on here and always find myself doing some kind of online social interaction with strangers at least (since i have no friends yet). Its just a matter of overcoming that social anxiety and making/having friends again which i haven't done since like early high school. I also like going on multiplayer chats and games and havig fun joking around with people and acting retarded. Yes even at my old age in my 20s i still get that hit from writing dumb messages in chat rooms to get attention and laugh with others. Lmfao.

"Extroverts rely on dopamine[1] in their brain to stay happy, if a person is an extrovert with social anxiety they will likely still need that dopamine fill from other sources. Such as engaging in online group activity, listening to human voices, have multiple noise going on, doing shopping/gambling/stimulating type behaviors/stimulating music in order to get their dopamine fill, otherwise they can get into a depressive mood.

Introverts rely on acetylcholine to stay happy, over abundance of dopamine overwhelms introvert, so the true introvert needs quiet, peaceful moments with steady activity/more mellow musical choice for most times, to stabilize themselves and regain happiness"
