But also I love my alone time… I feel like a lot of people are annoying (lol), so I only want to be around nice good energy people.
I guess im a selective extrovert if that’s a thing?
i am 100% extrovert and i can relate to everything you said about ysf
being an extrovert means you have the need to talk and get things out when interacting with others, you also are much more aware of your surrounding and fastly respond to it
introverts keep more in and are more in their world less affected by outside
Yeah exactly but sometimes being an extrovert gets mistaken for “liking” being around people. It depends! I don’t like being around miserable or rude people lol! I’m fine being just alone if that’s the case. But I do love social gatherings.
yes, exactly, extroversion doesn't mean you love everyone lol Everyone chooses people they like and you can't get along with everyone, but you have more need to interact with others and that gets you energized (while introverts are drained by interactions in general), but ofc some people can drain you if they are mean or bad to you or you simply dont feel good with them. Extroversion also doesn't mean you are never with ysf and your own toughts (if you are not you are probably running away from your own problems)
Yeah I’m definitely an extrovert then lol
I am kinda like you. The only difference is that I don’t find people annoying. I enjoy understanding and learning from others, then I take the positive from them.
My daughter on the other hand said clearly last night that she didn’t want to be in loud places/bars/dancing clubs…me, I can be there for sometime and just tune out loud noises.
She said it’s way too stimulating to her senses.
I guess some people are. Not everybody but a lot of people are annoying.
I would say I'm an introvert I love working by myself I hate people being around me when I work I don't really like talking with people when I'm busy. But I also when I am not working I can be a great social butterfly. I really do not drink alcoholic beverages. It's a waste of time and money.
It's not a thing. When you do go out, how long do you spend? How much time after you begin a social excursion does it take for you to feel tired of it?
It depends on who I am with! Some people drain my energy, others I want to stay out with all nice. However, once the day is done I need a few days to myself lol.
Haha I see

Introvert 70% of the time I'd say. I try to get out and be more social but I will always hit the point of "nope, too many people. That table is wobbling, that person is obnoxious, and I'm starting to hear peoples' thoughts" and I promptly disappear back home.
Although I'm definitely more an extrovert, I still need and enjoy having my own "Me Time".
Right on the cusp. I'd prefer to not talk much and to keep to myself, but assholes if this world believe extroverted is better, so...
I don't know on my side of the world everyone seems to be glorifying introvert tendencies.
In the UK?
You most certainly don't.
You don't even understand the difference between hate crime (actual crime but motivated by hatred), hate speech (a call to commit crime (s)), hatred (a feeling one needs not act on but can legitimately show and express as long as it doesn't involve crime) and remaing calm when some idiot is being their idiotic self (but not doing anything criminal). And you never stop verbalising obvious stuff.
I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️
A lot of things are up in the air in the UK right now unfortunately. There’s just been a lot going on and no one really knows how to cope, especially with post Covid trauma.
I don't know, like I'm a relatively quiet person by nature who loves my own space, but my job is high pressure role and it projects me as a more extroverted decision making person, who often has to take the lead in large meetings.
Honestly I think I'm a little both. I'm not shy but I'm not particularly reserved either. I'm pretty comfortable around people and i'm comfortable enjoying time when i'm alone as well so I don't know what to call it
Same here

Haha
I'm an ambivert. As a kid, I thought I was reserved and introverted. In my twenties, I thought I was extroverted... After my mid 20s I started to realize I'm an ambivert.
I guess you could say I'm an introvert, though I don't know if that's by preference or because of an unfortunate way of growing up leading to being too scared and uncomfortable to be anything else.
Extroverted introvert perhaps. That is the way I am.
I'm a selective introvert lol, typically quiet and contemplative, but I turn into a hyperactive weirdo around close friends 😅
I am Introvert, and you seem to be an ambivert (which is both, or has characteristics of both)
An introvert that can communicate very well. I enjoy my alone time but don’t mind being in a group….. but I definitely won’t be the center of attention or most talkative in a social setting.
Mostly and introvert, but out going when the conditions dictate that.
Neither really, but I cross between an Ambivert, and an Omnivert. ❤️
I am not an introvert, I just don't like too many people.
I'm not a hermit level introvert but I do have friends that could qualify.
I am always an extrovert to the people I feel comfortable with.
I’m somewhat introverted. I enjoy socializing but it costs me some energy.
that description is perfect because I feel the same way.. like to meet new people but love to be alone as well lol
I'm an introvert, but my job requires me to be an extrovert, so when I get home I need peace & quiet and alone time
I'm kinda both, I am like pseudo-introverted since I'm shy but on the other hand if a trust you, I will open up pretty easily
