As a child, what made you feel "loved" and "supported" by your parents?

By "supported" I mean feeling like someone is in your corner. Someone who will take your side even if you make a mistake, kind of like your attorney. Someone who will see the silver lining and the best side of who you are.
"Loved" is a more broad subject, so use your own definition.
