As a child, what made you feel "loved" and "supported" by your parents?
"Loved" is a more broad subject, so use your own definition.
By loving me but sometimes that even meant letting me learn the hard way. If my parents thought I was being treated unfairly or something was a honest mistake they took my side.
HOWEVER. If I made a bad choice (different then a mistake) or made a careless or reckless mistake doing something I knew better then to do. Many times they let me learn the hard way.
Not just bail me out of trouble whenever I did something. That is not what good parents do.
But they also did not just condemn me either. I had to take my punishment if it was at school then when I got home and then whenever my other parent got home. Taught me that pretty much that next time we will do things better.
