I've got one tattoo, and I have some ideas for other tattoos I may want to get in the future. But none of them have anything to do with children or any of my loved ones. At least not the written word.

My sister and one of my brothers have tattoos with turtles that symbolize our sibling connection, so I will probably get a multi-turtle tattoo at some point. I also am a world traveler, so I want to get a waterman map in a scroll style.

But I'm not into getting anyone's name tattooed on me. It's not my style. I'm more about pictoral type art, and if I did get words tattooed on me, they would probably be something poetic or philosophical rather than a person's name.

In the past I thought that would be the only tattoo I'd get, especially if I ever lost one (I pray to God it never happens). But since then I came across a line in Bible that speaks against it so I will not. I'm ok with that though, I'm not into tattoos anyways.

Nah I'm not into tattoos for myself. I've seen some people do their kids birth flower and that looked good but the name thing looks trashy. I only have boys so people might assume something else seeing a male name tatted on me.

I got my Grandpa's name, my husband's name, and my little brother's name tattooed on me. I always thought tattoos were cool, just don't overdue it. I have a stupid one on my right forearm, but that's it.

It's cute but nah, I've had the tattoo consideration a lot and ultimately ended on, if I care/love something a lot, what purpose does getting a tattoo serve except to express it to other people. It will only truly matter me, so I don't see why it should be displayed for others.

Ask yourself, do parents who get tats of their childrens name love their kids any more than parents that don't?

I'm not entirely opposed to it but I probably wouldn't just because I'm not sure I have any interest in getting tattoos in the first place. I don't dislike them, though. I actually like the aesthetic of tattoos that cover up large portions of the body. Usually when it's like full-body tattoos. But I don't know if I like that ob me, you know?

No I wouldn't. through the years of observation every person that I've ever met that has there kids names tattooed on them is because they aren't ever around there kids. They are too busy being selfish rather than being a parent. Usually wen you are around your kids all the time the last thing on your mind is getting there name tattooed on yourself, but instead you are busy doing your job as a parent. This is just my opinion not a fact

If I ever became a mom instead of a tattoo I'll get a charm. For example if my daughter or son is born at night I'll probably get a moon charm and add that to the bracelet. I'll have my own tattoos and it'll be the stretch marks

There are somethings that I don't think are a good idea for tattoos and that includes names and pictures of someone's face. For me it doesn't matter whose it's still a bad idea I personally think.
