Would you get your bf/gf or spouse's name tattooed on you?

My pal got his girlfriend name tattoed on his hand in a party we were in. He was steamin. I tried to talk him out of it but he didn't listen. They'd been split for about 4 weeks as well and just got back together. They splitagin the week after and after about 3 months he got it covered with a tribal design. They ended up back together again n she went nuts he got it covered n dumped him again LMAO. I was pissing myself laughing at them. Don't go there
Really? :0 I'm just not very conviced relationships like that are gonna work XD If you can't stay together then you have to accept it at some point there's a reason it's not working. Either you have to make some real changes about yourself and be willing to make more sacrfices and put in more effort or just look for somebody else. If you keep breaking up it's just bad. Once I'd try again if I still liked her and I felt like the reason for us breaking up could be worked out but after that I'd be very scptical that it could work ^^ But it's up to them, that's just my opinion XD
@Lynx122 you'd need to be in a 12 year relationship to understand. It get hairy after about 7 years. You missus gives you odd looks when she's holding something dangerous like boiling water or a kitchen knife. All that Romeo and Juliet stuff was made up by a gay guy, it's more like Tom and Jerry in real life
Under NO circumstances EVER.
My gal told me earlier this year that one of her friends was planning to get her husband's signature tattooed on her leg.
Any slightest suggestion of my gal doing that would freak me out completely. As in 100% no way.
I wouldn't mind doing my spouse if he wanted to. I mean I'd marry him to be with him forever so... But only if he gets a matching one. XD I don't want to have to go through that by myself. In that pic it looks like she's a little girl though haha.
Oh wow i didn't realize how small her arm was until you said that XD
i love my husband, but i shouldn't have to ink his name on my body to prove as much.
No I don't really want my arm or wherever to look like this ;-)
Did Jessica breakup with him twice?
@YourFutureEx No he was dating two girls at the same time luckily for him they had the same name until one of them broke up with him and he put the first cross on https://goo.gl/images/YQRHgq then he managed to break up with the second girl

No. There's always risk of a breakup
Yes and no. I'm designing a tattoo that will partially cover my left pec with a ring of small native American fish symbols, with an extravagant fish symbol at the center on my heart. It's meaning being there are a million fish in the sea, but you're MY fish. My one in a million. I'd be willing to put a letter on the fish symbol, but it would be their name specifically. Remains versatile xD
Tattoos are trashy. It's creepy because slave owners use to brand thair names on slaves to mark them as property so this is not much different if the person proposing the idea had tattoos and the person who isn't is a clean slate. If a girl told be to do follow some dumb fad to make her happy I would leave her.
No way! Although I wouldn't get a tattoo for anything.
My friend got a huge matching tattoo (his is superman hers is wonder woman) on the front of her calf after dating a guy for only 6 months. Insane much?
I wouldn't get his name. its betterto get a symbol or something to represent them instead.
I recently got a small J tattoo. I got it for 2 reasons, it is my sisters initial and its also my boyfriends initial. so even if we break up, it still means something to me.
He's planning on also getting a J tattoo because its my initial too
No way. Never ever. One of my cousins did this even though everyone begged him not to. He broke up with the girl only a couple months later. They were only dating for 6 months! Crazy
Nope~ the closest I would consider is a matching tattoo, something that is special to us as then if we ever broke up, it won't necessarily be of them anymore
I like tats myself but wouldn't have my Husband's name tattooed, no. [Neither my kids' names!..] Something that has a meaning to both of us, maybe..
The only time I might is if my partner passed away.
Omg I just realised that it's a picture of arms... It was featured on the homepage and the hands weren't visible and every time I saw it I thought it was a picture of an airplane propeller... And now I noticed the watch and thought why is there a watch on a propeller? Then I read the title and realised it was arms :P
And no I wouldn't get such a tattoo.
No. never, only the names of my future kids.
No i would get something that I could relate to them but not a matching tattoo and defiantly not their name
If I ever get names on me... it'll be my parents, my own or my kids if I ever have any. Other than that... hell no.
About to. Together 19 years. Celtic symbol of New Beginnings with her name.
No, we never know what the future may hold; I don't want the name of somebody that I'm not with anymore on my body
I couldn't agree more
Generally that is the kiss of death for a relationship.
I'd only tattoo my parents' and my future kids' names.
NO WAY!!! Anything like that is just really stupid. I love my husband to the moon and back, but I would never get his name tattooed on me. That's a death knell for any relationship.
No I would not get anyone's name tattooed on me. However I have gotten a small cutesy one under duress so who knows what one will do to save their life.
Nope, don't do tattoos in general and I personally think getting your partner's name tattooed on yourself is stupid. Kids names I can kind of (sort of) understand but not a significant other.
no. I don't need to put permanent ink on my body to validate my love and commitment to my current boyfriend, and possibly future husband.
On my tenth wedding anniversary I might get their name on my ring finger under my wedding band!
no, i never want to get a tattoo. and if an SO were to try to convince me to get one multiple times I think I would leave
Tattoos are permanent, love isn't.
maybe get a tattoo of someone who's passed away or a family member, but I wouldn't get a love's name, personally.
I answered but that wouldn't be in the near future. That's the kind of thing I would probably do at 50 or 60
Do you know how many times people did that and the relationship ended?
Nope, never. That could end up being a double disaster, then you'd have to get the tattoo removed or reworked
No, I would rather his name be in my heart than on my skin
Right now I find it stupid. Maybe if I was married I'd feel less opposed to it.
Sorry to put it like this but BF's/GF's come and go so absolutely no !
Even a spouse , no. I don't need to validate my love by having names or initials inked on me.
No, but I would never get a tattoo in general. ESP in that obv place... and then they say "why won't they hire me wahhhhh"
Lol, valid point. No names, ergh. But... thought I should add that tattoos aren't nearly as "taboo" as they used to be. I have several, and a professional position.
Some jobs yes, it's an automatic disqualifier still. Not nearly as often as you would think though. Be smart, and don't get stupid tattoos in stupidly obvious places. Problem solved 😎
no beautiful most time when you do the relationship is over then you got to find some with that same name to use it
That is a big no. What if you break up or divorce. You would havYou get it covered up or removed.
Voted yes, but not girlfriend.
Wifey's name. Kids too 💓
i will get a MEHENDI lol
its best if this is the situation
That's probably one of the worst decision you can make. Immagine you breakup, what is your new SO gonna think?
Easy, you can just get her name tatooed even bigger 🙂 lol just joking
Find a person with their name lmao
I don't do names in my tats Instead i turn the person into a piece of artwork only I know the real story behind...
Yes, in my hips or somewhere that it's only visible when going to the beach.
HAHAAH, fuck no.
I would even get my own name tattooed.
I HATE tattoos but even if I did like them I wouldn't do it. If you get broken up with you still have a tattoo and they are expensive to remove...
Yes. But only if they pay for the removal should they ever leave.
I don't get tattoos. But oh! How cute would that be?
no for me..
i know people that have done it and i respect but not my style :)
Lol hell no. That's the tackiest shit ever.
if you did that, than broke up. you would have to try and find another guy with that name
When I was in jail I tattooed (My Name)'s Property on my cellmate's ass.
❌❌❌ women are too unfaithful to have their name tattooed on my precious body
That's a very risky thing so no.
Not really a tattoo girl to begin with so no.
Anyone that says yes is out of their mind...
No way, only getting tattoos of my future children
A daft idea !! big no !!
Yeah right across my forehead lmao
NooooooooooooooooooooooOOoOOoOOOooooope
no. I dont like tattoos
No I don't have tattoos
No... I wouldn't get a tattoo to begin with.
No I wouldn't do that
