But if going outside is a must then
2) breastfeeding in the backseat of the car.
3) pumping my breast milk

If a woman wishes to cover herself up when feeding a baby in public then she should do so. It's her choice. If you are concerned about your breasts being visible then you're quite right to be thinking of ways to mitigate against that.
Other women are quite happy to feed babies openly, and that should be respected too. And let's face it, when a baby is in the process of feeding the nipple is naturally largely obscured from view.
I've not yet had children, but my sister has, and she fed her babies quite openly. With very few exceptions nobody batted an eyelid. She was using her breasts for their intended purpose, which is a far cry from simply getting them out for people to look at.
A woman should do what they feel comfortable but personally I don't ever wear a cover. My kids always refused to eat under them. And pumping milk beforehand can actually cause low supply since you'd be skipping a feed so not a option unless the mom is willing to risk her supply.
I think it's a good thing to use cover ups in public. Or just go to another room when at some gathering. No one needs to see you expose yourself. I think it's just polite to everyone else. I like to say "don't put on a show that no one asked to see". And as the husband, I wouldn't want anyone looking at my wife with rude and crude eyes.
It's sad that society has denigrated the most natural act in the world to something titillating for perverts.
If a woman is feeding her child then simply fuck off if it makes you "uncomfortable". It's not a show, it's a meal.
Let her feed her child anywhere she wants to, any way she's comfortable.

I think it’s very respectful when women cover up while breast feeding in public but honestly if you can’t cover for whatever reason, I don’t see a problem with it. Breastfeeding is such a natural part of life that people sometimes unfortunately sexualize. You’re feeding your child and that’s what makes you a great mom so I don’t see the point in hiding it if u don’t have to you know?
Wouldn't matter, either ways I'm the type to look away out of respect, she's feeding a baby not a big deal
I breastfed all my babies wherever I was wherever Baby was hungry and never made them eat under a blanket. There is less breast to see while nursing a baby than there is in bathing suits or low cut tops. It's not sexual.
As far as other moms using cover-ups, I don't think anything about them. They are doing what's best for their baby and that's all that matters.
In public - it's a positive signal that you don't do it for attention, or for making ''political'' statements.
It should be entirely a woman's prerogative how she chooses to breastfeed her baby.
I shall have no qualms at all in either covering up or not when I start breastfeeding this coming November.
There's nothing wrong with a woman breastfeeding her child in public. Using a coverup is nice.
It's every mother's choice taking in to account how comfortable they feel and how the baby takes to being covered. Baby's gotta eat regardless
Better than when they don’t try to cover it up. That should be a private activity
i consider it respectful of others.
as with scratching one's crotch in public, not everyone wants to see it.
It doesn't matter to me if a mother wants to breastfeed their kid thats their choice so i wouldn't care if i saw it in public even if they covered up or not in the end its their choice how they raise their baby and what they do with their body
I appreciate them covering up.
I admire your modesty, by the way.
I think it's better and more appropriate to use them.
I don't have an opinion about it. This is a fact of life.
It's a important part of nature and not a big deal.
What to think? Its completely fine. All I care about is they should be able to see baby. I dont like it when babys face is fully covered. It feels very scary to me.
I personally have no problem with women breastfeeding in public - this is how God created you.
I think they're great, same as I think of those who don't!!
i don't think breastfeeding should happen in public
they’re mindful, considerate angels.
Are the pumps like gravity based?
like the water filters for hiking?
That is actually a decent thing to do instead of exposing your breast fully and making all of us watch.
I don’t use a cover up. If somebody catches a nip slip and gets upset, that’s their problem. Not mine.
Sounds like your plan should work!
If that works for them, then fine.
They do whatever they want.
As they like
Their body their choice
That's good isn't it.
Not a bad ideas.
Sounds fine
