Whom should I chose? my friend or mom?

I have a friend who has given me mental support whenever i needed. He/she really gets me. a good friend. But my mom says he/she is a bad influence and she is serious about it. my friend has some problems I admit. But whom should i choose and how?

Listen to my mom and leave my friend
