Why they help everyone but me?

So my sister in law told me about a position available for her online job. I had the interview, she helped 5 others get the job I asked could she talk to her supervisor like she did everyone else. I never heard back. I asked my brother about a position at his job he helped a friend get on but now his friend doesn't want to do it my brother told me they're not hiring anymore. My aunt told my mom about a position where she works but she decided not to tell me about it and I believe someone else got it. I probably shouldn't feel this way but it just feels like my bro & sis in law is helping everyone else.

I really feel for you in your situation, but unfortunately it's rather taboo to recommend a relative to work at your workplace. This is because workplaces would judge you both as if you are the same people, which means if one of them falls behind it affects the reputation of the other.

l'm sorry you're in this situation, but I don't think it's coming from malice. I think they're just concerned about the risks.

I suppose but my sis in law helped her friends and my parents worked at the same hospital.

Maybe they feel like you haven't helped yourself enough. Get your resume updated and apply to 5 places every day. If you fail a few interviews they will see you are trying and will be more likely to help.

I've applied to a lot of jobs. Been out of a job for a few months from health issues so been looking at online work.
