If your significant other was pregnant how would you take care of them? And ladies if you were pregnant how would you want to be cared for?

Even after the baby is born, guys how would you care for her afterwards while she is recovering as well as taking care of baby. Same for ladies how would you want to be cared for after the baby is born.

For me I'd probably want while pregnant for him to not only help feed me my cravings, but to also massage my feet but mostly by back. To come with me Lamaze classes, doctor appointments, baby shopping, and just be my shoulder to cry on as well supportive. And watch historical series, documentaries, and movies with me while rubbing my tummy. I'd probably would want him in the delivery room with me not only for support but to also see his baby girl or baby boy being born.

After the baby is born while I'm recovering, I'd like for him to help me out as much as I can cause I would only be able to do so much especially since I'll probably still be sore from labor and delivery. I would like for him to help support me while I'm breastfeeding and to encourage me not to give up especially when I get into the process of losing all the baby weight. I'd also would like for him to spend time and care for baby while I'm resting as well.

I supported my wife as much as possible. Giving rubs massages and I cooked and did the household chores so my wife could rest and enjoy (as much as she could) her pregnancy. The first was hard as she had a c-section I let he rest and heal and took over feeding baby as best I could. The second child was similar and was a c section as well though this time my wife recovered much faster. Overall we talked and communicated the whole time so we could get rest if one of us needed it and we worked together as a team.

I only wanted my husband to be there in the room and support whatever decisions I made during labor and for breastfeeding. All 3 times I've been pregnant my husband didn't live with me or was deployed for the majority of the time so there was no other option besides take care of myself, go to appointments alone and have to care for my other kids on top of being pregnant. Any woman that has her baby daddy with them every day while pregnant is extremely lucky cause I wish so bad that I could have had that everyday support.

If I ever change my mind on kids then I would do all those things you said. At this point and I'm not sure it will change I don't really want children. But I wouldn't abandon a partner if an accident happened. As that would. be wrong as well. The fact is no matter what I would still support a partner in the ways you've said above.

Yea that sounds like something someone would need being pregnant. I mean I really do feel like women need a lot of support when they are pregnant. I mean any decent woman if she can when her man is sick will take care of him and love on him (or give him space if needed).

Same a man when his woman is sick but you get my point.

Being pregnant must not be no easy thing. It takes two to raise a child. Both motherhood and fatherhood is a hard thing.
