I’ve got an undermining frenemy… it’s like he thinks he’s being chill and funny, but he just can’t pull it off and it’s like any vulnerability you have, he makes a spectacle of it in front of people… it’s not funny. Like man, the vibes are great in the room and it’s like he goes and tries to make you feel small. There’s harmless insults and then there’s actually digging in and it’s like he doesn’t know where to draw the line. It’s like the difference between calling someone a “knob” or a “fart knocker” for fun and actually going in for a kill shot. Like come on dude, are you new? 🤨

Then ironically you show him up without even trying to and you’re just doing your thing, or point out an inconvenient truth and it’s like he can’t handle it. Very competitive and jealous, that one, I think. I’m honestly over it. He used to not be this way. I’ve wanted to call him on it for a while now, but I’m afraid I’ll hurt his little feelings if I do and it’s gonna be a big deal. Because he’s a “sensitive soul.”

He thinks he’s all cool when he dishes it out, but yet he wants to live in his protective bubble all the time and it’s like everyone’s gotta be on eggshells around him or he starts acting weird. All about him and what he thinks. Super strange. Like I said, I’m tired of it. It’s embarrassing to be around him sometimes, the way he acts. Long time friend but man, I hope he sorts it all out soon because he’s pushing people away. I think he realizes it too, which makes him act even weirder sometimes. Hard to just chill with him these days.

Hahaha. I have not heard that term before, but yes it happens! I can say I have had them a few times…. it’s when you keep your enemies close.
