How much does the tooth fairy bring these days?

We do $5, which I thought was decent, but some other parents (err…tooth fairy) around us are giving their kids $25-$50 but I refuse to give that much per tooth.
Excuse me? That is outrageous.
Holy Moley! Some of these kids are getting SPOILED! 😂
@Jamie05rhs @loves2learn Ok. I’m glad to know we’re not the crazy ones. 🤣 I was worried we were just being cheap.
I used to get £1, if I had kids they'll get a silver quarter
I used to get random spare change. 🤣

Tooth Fairy must have joined a great union, my son got like five times what I used to get.
The tooth fairy used to give me random spare change. 🤣
What my dad had in his pocket. 🤣 13 pennies, 3 dimes, 5 nickels and a quarter. 🤣🤣🤣
Good math! I tried not to. 🤣🤣🤣
My kids, several years ago, used to get 50 cents, a nice shiny Kennedy half-dollar. Some of our neighbor kids now get $5 per tooth.
5 seems high.
Nothing for me. I already lost my teeth so if I lose any now it will likely cost thousands for implants and I don't have insurance sold by the Tooth Fairy Insurance Agency.
Lol!
@daniela1982 The tooth fairy would now have to pay $3,000 per tooth to cover the implants! LOL!
@ArrowheadSW No kidding.
I too would like to know. We haven't had the occasion for the tooth fairy to visit. I imagine with inflation what it is, it's no longer the 50 cent piece per tooth that I got.
It’s getting expensive! Our neighbor upped the ante and gave his youngest $20 bucks for her first loss! Crazy 🤑
now our youngest feels like the $5 we have a couple years ago was a ripoff🤣
I see a lot of posts saying $5 per tooth. That will really add up as the teeth fall out!
I remember as a kid, when those baby teeth would loosen and you knew you would have to deal with them. I didn't like that all that much... LOL
I heard it was ten bucks. I still have my wisdom teeth in a jar and I am thinking about cashing them in
That seems high to me
Do you think $5 is too much? I don't know what the going rate is these days, "loves" ?
Glad to see you are back writing some these days, Sweetie.
Hope you are alright.

Went with a dollar. I dunno. The kid was thrilled.
My friends have varied from 2-3 dollars all the way upto 20 lol
20 is so high!
When I was growing up it was a quarter. When my kids were growing up we gave them a dollar. The last tooth was 15 years ago.
I don't know about these days, but all I ever got was 50 cents per tooth.
I only got a quarter. Lol
I used to get twenties as a kid, but that's just because my family liked to spoil me. Once I lost a tooth when staying at my grandparents house, and they gave me a hundred.
It's been a long time since the tooth fairy came to our house... I'm not sure what she brings these days.
A dollar coin the last I knew.
With inflation and the Central Bank rates about $25
Who knows, with inflation and rising fuel costs
With Bidenflation? Probably about $10. Lol
$1.00 per tooth
I gave my daughter 2.00$
About 5 CAD to buy a toy with.

I only get bills from the 'tooth fairy'.

I knew it has to be a kid. Honestly, I don't know how much tooth fairy bring these days. Google would be your best bet.
