He was really well behaved, shy and used to help his parents around the house and have lots of manners. His dad used to treat his mom well.

His dad died when he was 15 and everything changed from that day. He became physically abusive towards his mom and didn't help anymore. He was just very troublesome and disrespectful.

Why did he change so drastically?

The structure and disciplinarian was removed from the dynamic. Kids need to be scared of both The Lord and their Dad. I'm sure he missed that Dad relationship too.

he's upset at the death and needs therapy to cope. he is coping with anger instead because he has no idea how to get through this early death.
