How do you find out the reason why a loved one died so young?

my father died of cancer back in 2016 at age 56
i'm trying to find out why he went so young his father lived to 81.

I’m sorry for your loss, but what do you want to figure out? He didn’t pass away out of thin air or mysteriously, he has cancer.
