If a man already has older children, would he prefer women in their 30's and 40's?

I'll refer to my manager's case:

He's 50 years old and 3 adult children are 32 years, 28 and 20 years old. He has grandchildren already too. He just recently got engaged last month. His fiance is 39 years old and has two kids of her own too; both in their mid teen years.

Is that one of the times when a man doesn't go for woman in their 20's anymore? If he already has children (and grandchildren) and doesn't want anymore.

I would not prefer a women in her 20's or 30's and I am 46. I had my kids and do not want any more children and will not date women with younger kids. My current girlfriends is 46, her kids are 16 and 17, so that's not so bad. My kids are 17 and 25. So in 2 to 5 years by the time I am 50 we will both be free to move about and do 50 year old fun shit together.

So I honestly don't care if a women is 20 or 30 and smoking hot, because I am looking for someone that is a good fit for me given my current life style and were I want to be in 2 to 3 years.

See for women that young I have an advantage, because I have been 25 and 35 and I know what I was thinking and doing at 25 and 35 to get where I am now at 46... so at 46 I am not looking to be doing or wanting those things. And at 46 I am not taking on 25 or 35 year old with kids who still hasn't done all the things for herself yet that I have achieved for me already at 46.

Friend in highschool had a mother in her mid 50's, his dad was around 85.
His oldest half-brother at the time was already retired and a whole decade older than his mother.

yeah he sounded like the type that wasn't interested in college aged girls. He wanted an older, mature woman. He wasn't interest in kids. He's already happy with his grandchildren.
